Doctors, utilities, school records, transportation, weather, pets, and routines take more energy than expected. Mello-roos and Asian grocery access can become weekly annoyances if you choose poorly. Everything gets better once the family has a normal grocery store, doctor, school route, weekend habit, and a few familiar faces. Do not judge the whole move by the first month. The first month is mostly cardboard boxes and bad sleep.
