We are moving from Portland, Oregon to Burnaby, British Columbia, and this question has become the thing I keep coming back to. The move makes sense on paper because of rental documents, but the real-life details feel more complicated than the clean relocation advice we keep hearing. Moving from California and realizing we may need to rent much smaller.
