Has anyone moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Whitestown, Indiana and felt surprised by the day-to-day reality? Spouse transfer with school-age kids is our main reason, but I’m trying to separate the nice relocation idea from the actual weekday routine. I’m especially trying to understand this: Making friends after moving to Carmel?. One of us will work hybrid, and the other may be remote at first, so weekday routine matters a lot. People keep mentioning roundabouts, HOA expectations, and kids activities. Which of those actually mattered most?
