Posting from Tucson, Arizona. We may be heading to Newport Beach, California, mostly because of commute decision. On paper it makes sense, but I don’t want to make a clean spreadsheet decision and then create a messy family life. Specific question: Irvine vs Newport Beach: family life or coastal lifestyle?. One of us will work hybrid, and the other may be remote at first, so weekday routine matters a lot. We are trying to understand the real neighborhood feel, not just online rankings. What did you only understand after living there for a few months?
