      We are relocating from Bengaluru, India to Melbourne, Victoria, and this issue keeps coming up for us: should we pay more for glen waverley or choose more space in point cook?.       I would not move here expecting huge savings. The city may be cheaper than another global city in one category and more expensive in another. Families feel costs through routines: where school is, how far activities are, how often you eat out, and whether relatives visit.
