Posting from New Haven, Connecticut. We may be heading to Lutz, Florida, mostly because of fresh start after divorce. On paper it makes sense, but I don’t want to make a clean spreadsheet decision and then create a messy family life. Specific question: Is Tampa better for retirees or families?. This move is exciting on paper, but I can already tell the first few months may be messy. I want honest stories from people who already made the move, including what was hard and what they would do differently. What did you only understand after living there for a few months?
