      We are trying to figure out grocery shopping in Lisbon with two kids. I keep bouncing between local shops, supermarkets, online delivery, and specialty stores. We cook a mix of Portuguese, Asian, and North American food. I want a routine that does not eat the whole weekend. What works for families?

      Build a rotation. Local shop for produce and bread, supermarket for basics, online delivery for heavy items, specialty stores for Asian or imported foods, and occasional bulk trips if you have storage. The mistake is trying to find one store that solves everything.

      Storage is smaller, so bulk shopping is not always a win.

      The local market became my language class. I learned food words there faster than from apps.
