Posting from St. Louis, Missouri. We may be heading to Aliso Viejo, California, mostly because of downsizing from a larger home. On paper it makes sense, but I don’t want to make a clean spreadsheet decision and then create a messy family life. Specific question: Moving to Irvine with pets: hard to find rentals?. We may rent first, but school timing and lease timing are making the decision stressful. We are trying to avoid choosing a house that looks great online but creates a bad routine. What did you only understand after living there for a few months?
