Label Your Boxes by Room and Priority — It Saved Me So Much Time!
Just wanted to share a simple but super effective tip from my recent move. When labeling boxes, I didn’t just write the room name — I also added a priority number (1 = open immediately, 2 = within a week, 3 = long-term storage).
Example:
“Kitchen – Priority 1” = toaster, coffee, plates
“Bedroom – Priority 3” = off-season clothes, books
When I arrived, I knew exactly which boxes to open first and which ones could wait. It helped me avoid total chaos and settle in quickly. Hope this helps someone else!
