      We are relocating from Vancouver, British Columbia to Sydney, New South Wales and trying to understand whether should we ship furniture to australia or start over locally? is something families really deal with after arrival. Online advice is either too positive or too vague. We have children, work schedules, budget limits, and no local support yet, so small mistakes could change daily life quickly. For people who already made this move, what did you learn after the first few months?

      We learned this the expensive way. The commute looked fine online and felt awful in real life.
