Representation helped, but it did not automatically create friendship. We still had to show up repeatedly and build community. The city is safe and convenient, but convenience does not erase language barriers, fine dust days, or the emotional weight of starting over. My advice is to rent or stay flexible at first if you do not fully understand the area yet.
