People talk about the area like it is one lifestyle. It is not. The exact neighborhood, commute, and school circle change everything. In New Jersey, town choice matters more than outsiders realize. Two towns ten miles apart can feel like different lives. My advice is to rent or stay flexible at first if you do not fully understand the area yet. It did get easier, but not because everything became perfect. It got easier because we stopped expecting the move to solve every problem.
